10.15am – 11.30am | Private Forestry Service Queensland, Araluen incl. Woodworks tour
We would include a 20 min presentation on the current state of the Private native Forest resource, the management processes we advocate, the results of 220 permanent growth plots we have across southern Queensland, the landholder education program we have in place (30 x 1 day field days and 8 x 4 day workshops) as well as the management guides, youtube videos and facebook posts we utilise to raise the awareness of the importance of managing the 3 million ha of the resource. Plus morning tea at venue. |
